In January-May 2019, 24 companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey, which is six companies more compared to January-May 2018, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Turkmen companies registered in Turkey during the first five months of 2019 amounted to 4.694 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018, this figure was 2.751 million Turkish liras.
In January-May 2019, most Turkmen companies were registered in Istanbul (20 companies), whose total capital amounted to 3.570 million Turkish liras.
During the reported period, two companies with Turkmen capital (84,000 liras) were registered in Antalya.
In January-May 2019, one industrial, one construction, 13 wholesale and retail companies, two tourist companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey. The remaining registered companies with Turkmen capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The TOBB noted that the total capital of 13 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 3.170 million liras.
