The Azerbaijani company “Atena”, the manufacturer of dairy products, is working to launch a new production line, a source in the company told Trend.
The company is working to expand the varieties of yogurt-like dairy products (ayran and qatiq), according to the source.
“New production will be based on new technologies,” the source added. “New products will have more calories and high percentage of fat. Products will enter the domestic market this fall. The company is working hard to improve product quality, given the serious competition in the market.”
The source also noted that by the end of the year the company plans to increase production volumes to 40 percent.
“We have already started export negotiations with partners in the CIS markets, and we are counting on export deliveries in the coming months,” the source said.
The production plant of the company “Atena” is located in Agjabadi district. The company has its own farm and land plot.
