The paper manufacturing plant will be launched in the major city of Kazakhstan - Almaty before the end of 2019, Trend reports with reference to LS news agency.
“Currently the reconstruction of the production site is underway. The launch of the project worth 2.4 billion tenge in planned for December 2019," the report said.
“The capacity of the plant is to equal to 70,000 tons of paper product a year. Following the launch of the plant 60 new work places will be created,” the statement said.
“Furthermore, the launch of the project will allow for the decrease of local demand for Russian raw materials by 70 percent. A part of the manufactured product is also to be exported to Central Asia countries,” the report said.
During the first five months of 2019, the manufacturing value of paper and paper products in Kazakhstan amounted to 26.1 billion tenge ($67.993 million). The index of actual volume of the production amounted to 103 percent.
