Innovative paper manufacturing project launched in Kazakhstan

Unprecedented paper manufacturing worth 300 million tenge will be launched in Kazakhstan’s Aktobe region, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.

The construction of a Lucrum Star paper products manufacturing commenced in Kazakhstan’s city of Aktobe. The launch of the manufacturing itself is planned for 1Q2020. The capacity of the workshop will equal to 3,335 tons of raw paper a year. The project is to be implemented with participation of investors.

The technology of manufacturing consists of sorting, dissolution, cleansing and processing of the collected waste paper.

“This project is unique. as it will allow to recycle over 50 percent of cardboard and low quality waste paper collected on the territory of West Kazakhstan. Previously, the waste paper was imported from Russia,” the news report said.

“The start of waste paper collecting is planned for August of 2019. Corresponding agreements have already been made with major companies. The manufacturing is to launch full production cycle and to supply local market of Kazakhstan with quality paper product. The capacity of the manufacturing will equal to over 10 tons of paper a day and up to 3,4 thousands tons of product a year,” the statement said.
