Azerbaijan’s “Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation” Open Joint-Stock Company will take part in the project of reconstruction of Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery in the shortest possible time, leading marketing specialist of the company Rauf Azizov told Trend.
“The company will start the operations at the refinery within the next 10-12 days,” he added.
“The company's plans for this project have been changed,” Azizov added. “Earlier, Akkord was expected to install metal structures and deal with assembling at the refinery. Presently, we intend to paint the refinery as part of the refinery reconstruction project.”
He said that the company also reconsidered the plans in connection with participation in the project of the construction of a hotel at the territory of Baku Seaside Boulevard. "The company will not participate in this project," Azizov said.
The Akkord corporation took an active part in the construction of road infrastructure on Galaba Square near the Ganjlik metro station and at the intersections of adjacent streets in Baku upon the project of Singapore’s Surbana International Consultants PTC LTD.
The corporation holds a leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, residential houses and other public buildings, as well as in the production of building materials.
