Kazakhstan's Air Astana to take measures to further improve the quality of service(Exclusive)

The largest air company of Kazakhstan Air Astana is to take a number of specific measures to support the high level of company’s efficiency and to further improve the quality of service, the company told Trend.

As stated by the company, the measures aimed at the increase of passenger’s comfortability include the expansion of the list of additional services, such as excess baggage, access to the waiting area, as well as Internet on-board.

The source in the company further stated that in addition to internet access, the company is planning to install the system of entertainment programs streaming.

“The company also looks to continue implementing international standards and practices of airport services in Kazakhstan, to develop the interface for providing clients with access to tariffs, additional services and the description of products when booking the tickets online via content aggregators, as well as to launch a number of corporate programs,” the source added.

Among the activities to support high level of company’s efficiency is the expansion of the center of data processing, modernization of network infrastructure, as well as the improvement of services provided to clients starting from the process of purchasing the ticket to the service during and after the flights.

“The company is planning to continue updating the fleet of aircrafts with A321 neo and E190-E2 planes, returning the planes the operational leasing of which is expiring and to increase the serviceability of company’s hangar in Nur-Sultan,” the source in the company said.

Air Astana is the flag carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based in Almaty. It operates scheduled, domestic and international services on 64 routes from its main hub, Almaty International Airport, and from its secondary hub, Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport.
