Lazzat chocolate factory located in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic intends to expand the range of confectionery products till late 2019, a source in the factory told Trend.

“In particular, new types of waffle cakes will be produced,” the source added.

“We plan to expand the range of fruit waffles and waffle cakes,” the source said. “There is sufficient demand for our products in the market, sales volumes are stable. It is economically reasonable to expand the range of confectionery products in autumn and winter from the point of view of its sale. We expect to launch a new production line till the end of this year.”

“Our products are sold in Nakhchivan, Baku and other districts of the country,” the source added. “We plan to export products outside of Azerbaijan in the future. We intend to increase the production volumes soon. Presently, up to 6.5-7 tons per day account for the production volumes."

The products have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

Modern Turkish equipment has been installed at the factory.
