Azerbaijani wine producer determines new export destinations

The Sheki winery, an Azerbaijani producer of alcoholic products, will begin supplying wines to Belarusian market, the enterprise told Trend.

According to the source, deliveries are expected at the end of October 2019.

"Negotiations are currently underway to this end. The details of deliveries are being specified, including the volumes and types of wines intended for export. We plan to supply Bouquet Sheki and Askona wines made from Rkatsiteli, Saperavi and Chardonnay grapes to this market," the factory said.

They also noted that the company intends to increase production volumes up to 100,000 decalitres of alcoholic beverages.

"Last year, this indicator stood at 50,000 decalitres, and we plan to double the production volumes in the next six months," the company said.

The Sheki Winery was founded in 2006 with a design production capacity of 210,000 decalitres, that is, 280,000 bottles of wine. The company is equipped with equipment of Italy’s DELLA TOFFOLA company.

The territory of the enterprise contains buildings for packaging, weighing, an office building, a pump room, as well as premises for various technological equipment. There are also two supply bins for receiving white and red grapes, two lines for production of white and red wines, and another line for the production of elite brands of wine.
