Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan company Dadli Nakhchivan Mahsullari (Tasty Nakhchivan Products), which is engaged in the production and sale of dried fruits, has begun to produce thyme, Founder of the company Emin Tarverdiyev told Trend on Oct. 2.
“The company plans to export thyme next year,” he said.
“The thyme is planned to be exported in 20, 50 and 100 gram-packages,” Tarverdiyev said. “According to our estimates, the company may export 10,000 packages of thyme during the reporting period. These are small volumes as we are talking about primary supplies, but we plan to further increase them as far as demand in the markets will grow. Our products are mainly intended for export, so we are now actively exploring markets, mainly the Russian one.”
He stressed that besides the Russian market, the company intends to study the demand in several markets of the CIS countries.
“The company's products are organic, of high quality and are sold at affordable prices,” Tarverdiyev said.
