Russia’s Vnesheconombank will provide financial support for the supply of products of KAMAZ FTC Corp., a truck manufacturer based in Tatarstan (Russia), to Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the bank Oct. 11.
Support for KAMAZ FTC Corp. in the field of increasing the export volumes of Russian products is one of the priorities for Vnesheconombank’s activity, the bank’s head Igor Shuvalov said.
The deal with KAMAZ FTC Corp. was signed in June 2019.
Turkmenistan plans to acquire about 2,000 vehicles and special equipment of the KAMAZ brand.
Turkmenistan is one of the biggest and stable markets for the sale of products of the leader of the Russian cargo machinery industry. Over the past ten years, Turkmenistan has received more than 9,000 KAMAZ trucks and special machinery, and the company continues to promote the development of the country’s fleet of vehicles.
KAMAZ has its dealer network in Turkmenistan, which is represented in Ashgabat, Balkanabat, Mary and Turkmenabat cities.
