Azerbaijan's Ganja Instrumentation Factory to increase exports of water meters

Azerbaijan's Ganja |Instrumentation Factory plans to increase the exports of water meters by the end of 2019, a source at the factory told Trend.

According to the source, in the first nine months of 2019, deliveries to Georgia, Russia and Kazakhstan totaled about 240,000 water meters.

"The factory plans to increase exports to these three countries up to 270,000-285,000 meters," the source said.

The source noted that before the end of 2019, the company plans to increase the production of water meters by 15-20 percent.

According to the source, in terms of demand in the market, water meters ranks first, followed by gas control points and LED lamps.

"Presently, industrial water meters are sold at a price of up to 1,000 manat ($589), while household meters are sold for 15 manat ($8.84)," the source said.
