A foreign citizen will be able to obtain a residence permit in Uzbekistan for $3 million, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.
"A foreign citizen who has made investments in the amount of $3 million is issued a residence permit in Uzbekistan for a period of 10 years," the statement said.
To obtain an investment visa, investors need to contact the territorial bodies of internal affairs and provide the following documents: established application form, application from an enterprise with foreign investment, certificate of investment and a passport.
Foreign investors and their families will also be provided with a number of benefits such as scholarships and postgraduate education at a university on the same conditions as citizens of Uzbekistan.
Earlier this visa was issued for 5 years.
