Ganja brick factory, the manufacturer of building materials in Azerbaijan, has suspended its activity in connection with the reconstruction work carried out at the facility, a source at the factory told Trend.
The facility’s modernization will continue until the end of this year, according to the source.
“The opening of the plant is scheduled for next year,” the source said. “According to preliminary estimates, the plant will be commissioned by the end of March 2020.”
This will be a semi-automatic plant, which will produce block and single bricks, according to the source.
“The products are intended for domestic and export sales,” the source noted. “Georgia is a potential buyer of our products. Given the convenient logistics and transportation, this market is the most optimal for us.”
There are plans to produce up to 300 tons of bricks daily at the factory.
