Turkmenistan Airlines will resume Ashgabat - Birmingham (UK) flights from the second half of December 2019, Trend reports via the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Turkmen company carries almost three million passengers a year on international and domestic flights.
Currently, the company is studying economic situation in the air transport market in Europe and Asia.
Moreover, the national air carrier of Turkmenistan is preparing to increase the frequency of flights and expand the destinations list.
In October 2019, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) authorized Turkmenistan Airlines to resume flights to the European Union following a suspension.
