Iran’s Pardis Technology Park exports products worth $35M million

The companies operating at Pardis Technology Park in Iran’s capital Tehran exported 40 products worth $35 million during last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019), Mohsen Pilan Nejad, director general of the department for economic affairs and programs at the Pardis Technology Park, said.

“Oil, gas, medicines, machinery and the products in the IT field based on knowledge base were exported to 21 countries,” Nejad added, Trend reports referring to Mehr news agency.

“At the same time, these companies sold the products worth 83 trillion rials (about $1.97 billion) last year,” the director general said.

"Most of the products were related to such sectors as IT, electronics, biotechnology, healthcare, automation, modern technologies, nanotechnology, oil and gas," Nejad said.

The director general added that 25 local companies operating in the healthcare sector sold more than 190 types of products worth 3.22 trillion rials ($76.6 million).

Nejad said in the reporting period, four contracts worth 50 billion rials ($1.19 million) were signed between the companies of Pardis Technology Park and other industrial companies of Iran.
