Kazakhstan Railways to implement projects in co-op with Russian companies

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy national company (Kazakhstan Railways) and Russia’s Transmashholding and LogoTech-Signal companies signed a roadmap on joint projects, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.

According to the information, roadmap covers implementation of the projects aimed at innovative and technological development, traffic safety increase and efficiency of technology of transportation process.

Furthermore, the document also oversees a measures complex aimed at development, testing and introduction of innovative technological systems on a rolling stock.

“Carrying out activity on integration of on-board locomotive systems by introduction of unified ‘electonic map’ is planned, which will allow to create unified safety system and train driving system,” Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Chief Engineer Batyr Kotyrev said.

Furthermore, the roadmap oversees introduction of a microprocesssor centralization and automation of crossing alarm systems, which will allow to provide for high level of trains traffic safety.

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy is conducting rail and maritime transportation services, services of the transport and logistics centers as well as services of sea port, airport and road infrastructure.

The company implements infrastructure projects within the “Nurly Zhol” state program, participates in implementation of the Plan of the nation “100 concrete steps”, continues to modernize transport assets, increases the dry-cargo and ferry fleet, and participates in institutional development of the international transport passages and elimination of not physical barriers at implementation of transportation.
