From January through October 2019, the gross domestic product in Azerbaijan amounted to slightly over 65.4 billion manat ($38.4 billion), which indicates an increase of 2.1 percent, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
Added value in the non-oil sector of the economy increased by 3.5 percent, while in the oil and gas sector this increase was by 0.2 percent.
During the reported period, there was an increase in added value in all manufacturing sectors of the economy, except for construction.
Added value in the field of information and communications amounted to 16.1 percent, agriculture, forestry and fishing - 7.3 percent, tourist accommodation and catering - 5.5 percent, trade and car repair - 3.1 percent, industry - 1.7 percent, transport and storage facilities - 0.5 percent, other services - 3 percent, construction - 6.2 percent.
GDP per capita amounted to 6,609 manat ($3,887).
