Licenses for commissioning over 3,000 projects issued in Iran

During the seven months (March 21-October 22) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), licenses for commissioning 3,492 projects have been issued in Iran, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.

According to the report, 1,805 projects have been designed and 1,687 projects have been expanded.

A total of 227.5 trillion rials (about $5.4 billion) have been invested in 3,492 projects and 54,365 people have been employed, the report said.

The biggest number of projects was commissioned in East Azerbaijan (313) and Isfahan (300), and the least - in Kirman province (14).

The biggest investments in the commissioned projects (48 trillion rials - about $1.1 billion) were made in Tehran and the capital accounts for 21.4 percent of the total investment amount, the report says.

In average, 65.2 billion rials (approximately $1.5 million) were invested in each project.
