Iran discloses volume of products exported from Isfahan province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 17

Some 4.8 million tons of products worth $1.7 billion were exported from Iran’s Isfahan province from March 21 through November 21 of this Iranian year (beginning on March 21, 2019), Chairman of Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of the province Iraj Movaffaq said, Trend reports referring to the organization’s website.

“The products were exported from the province to many countries,” the chairman said. “Some 76,500 tons of goods worth $8.3 million were imported to the province during the reporting period.”

“The licenses have been issued for operation in 19 mines through investments worth 423 billion rials (about $ 10 million) during the reporting period,” Movaffaq said.

“Some 154 people were involved in the operation at these mines operated by the private sector,” Movaffaq said. “Some 54 mining licenses were issued during the reporting period.”

“Some 350 licenses worth 161 billion rials (about $3.8 million) have been issued in the industrial and mining industries during the reporting period and over 4,600 people have been employed in those sectors,” the chairman said.

“Some 657 licenses for the establishment of enterprises were issued during the reporting period,” Movaffaq added. “These projects are estimated at 41 billion rials (about $976,000) and 12,800 people are expected to be employed in these enterprises.”
