Over 60 licenses for commissioning of enterprises issued in Iran’s Kurdistan province

Sixty eight licenses for commissioning of enterprises were issued from March 21 through November 21, 2019 in Iran’s western Kurdistan province through the investments worth 1.35 trillion rials (approximately $32.1 million), Peyman Almasi, deputy chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the Kurdistan province, said, Trend reports referring to the organization’s website.

“As a result, 630 people were employed,” Almasi added.

“Some 457 licenses were issued for the establishment of enterprises from March 21 through November 21, 2019,” the deputy chairman added.

“The investments worth 50 trillion rials (about $1.1 billion) are planned to be made and 5,330 people are expected to be employed,” Almasi added.

“Presently, there are 841 enterprises in the province established through the investments worth 35 trillion rials (about $833 million),” the deputy chairman added. “Some 710 of these enterprises are currently operating.”

“The activity of 131 enterprises was ceased in the province,” Almasi added. “The activity of 32 enterprises has been restored so far and the number of such enterprises will reach 50 by the end of the year (March 21, 2020).”
