Prices on goods exported by Kazakhstan down

Price of goods exported by Kazakhstan decreased by 0.1 percent in October 2019 compared to December 2018, whereas prices of imported goods increased by 6.3 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

In turn, export prices decreased by 4.6 percent in October 2019 compared to October 2018, whereas import prices increased by 7.2 percent during the same period.

In October 2019, export prices of ferroalloys decreased by 25.1 percent compared to December 2018, zinc ores prices by 15.3 percent, chrome ores by 15.1 percent, zinc by 7.9 percent, copper by 2.7 percent.

Decrease of export prices is also observed on cotton - by 4.8 percent, whereas export prices on wheat increased by 23.1 percent, on barley by 1.8 percent, on wool by 1.6 percent.

Growth of export prices is also observed on iron ores by 22.4 percent, coal by 14.7 percent, ferrous metals products by 12.1 percent, lead by 11.9 percent, copper ores by 6.5 percent, oil by 2 percent.

In turn, growth of import prices observed on vegetables by 39.7 percent, tobacco by 14 percent, rice by 12.1 percent, confectionery by 10.9 percent, coffee by 9.2 percent, milk products by 8.8 percent, fish by 8.6 percent, noodles by 7.2 percent, cocoa by 6.9 percent.

Import prices of fruit and nuts dropped by 7 percent, sugar by 6.2 percent.

Import prices of footwear increased by 11 percent, pharmaceuticals by 9.8 percent, textile goods by 8.4 percent, construction materials by 7.9 percent.
