Masalli Brick Factory, big producer of building materials in Azerbaijan, intends to expand the range of building materials this year, a source in the factory told Trend.
“This step is aimed at increasing the export potential of the factory,” the source said. “The factory slightly increased the production volume, namely by 10-12 percent in 2019 compared to 2018.”
“The daily volume of brick production at this factory did not exceed 550 tons in 2019,” the source said. “This figure is planned to be brought up to 600-650 tons in 2020.”
“The factory plans to increase the range of bricks, including the production of facing bricks used in construction,” the source said. “This building material is extremely popular in the market.”
“Moreover, the production of bricks used for partition walls is planned to be increased this year,” the source said. “Presently, over 500 types of bricks are being produced.”
There are two big production workshops in the factory.
The factory operates at full capacity without downtime. The production volumes are mainly based on orders within the country and from abroad.
The Masalli Brick Factory has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1983.
