One of the largest Azerbaijani production enterprises, Ganja Aluminum Plant, plans to open new production lines, Director of the production department of the enterprise Ogtay Rafiyev told Trend.
Rafiyev said that increasing production volumes is one of the priority tasks.
“The opening of new production lines is envisaged in 2020. In particular, it is planned to launch production of several new aluminum alloys, including those for automobile license plates,” the director said.
The enterprise’s director noted that it is also planned to produce 53,274 tons of primary aluminum by the end of 2020.
"Since the beginning of the year, the plant has produced 8,885 tons of primary aluminum. This indicator amounted to 50,139 tons in 2019,” the director said.
Presently, the plant is operating at full capacity, and all the workshops of the plant are used.
The plant produces primary and final aluminum products, as well as semi-finished products in the form of aluminum sheets.
