Exports of products through customs Iran's Razavi Khorasan Province announced

Products worth $1.8 billion were exported via customs of Razavi Khorasan Province in northeaster Iran, last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), said Omid Jahankhah, Customs Inspector for Razavi Khorasan Province, Trend reports citing Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

According to Jahankhah, saffron, fruit and vegetables, construction materials, metal products and pistachios were mainly exported through the regional customs.

Jahankhah added that the products were exported to 92 countries, mainly Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Iraq.

The official said that about 278,000 tons of products worth $385 million were imported last Iranian year through the customs of the province.

"Imported products were mainly cotton, legumes, raw materials for manufacturing enterprises, cotton and mobile phones. These products are imported from Uzbekistan, UAE, Turkey, China and India," he said.

Jahankhah said that exports by 17 percent and imports by 4 percent increased in term of weight last Iranian year.

There are 5 customs checkpoints in Razavi Khorasan province of Iran - Lotfabad Sarakhs, Bajgiran, Dogharoun and Mashhad customs and 2 border markets.
