Azerbaijani Azertexnolayn talks export of polyethylene pipes

The Azerbaijani manufacturer of industrial products, Azertexnolayn LLC, plans to increase the production of polyethylene pipes for export to foreign markets, a source in the company told Trend.

According to the source, the company will increase the production by 20-25 percent by the end of 2020.

"We are going to increase the enterprise’s export potential and expand the geography of export. Currently, the company’s products are exported to Uzbekistan. It is also planned to start export to other countries of Central Asia. Moreover, corrugated pipes of the type SN 8 DN 1000, 400 300, 200, as well as steel pipes are also envisaged for export," said the source.

“Since the beginning of 2020, several deliveries to Uzbekistan have been carried out. The products were delivered by two trucks, each of which transported 10 tons of corrugated pipes. In the coming months, it is planned to double the volumes delivered to this market,” the source said.

Azertexnolayn plant, which is the first resident of the Sumgaiyt Chemical Industrial Park, was commissioned in 2013.

At present, Azertexnolayn uses modern technologies for the production and export of steel pipes with a diameter from 400 to 2,000 millimeters used in the transshipment of crude oil, natural gas, for the needs of oil refineries, water pipelines, as well as in steel structures and as piles.

The company also produces polyethylene sewer pipes with steel reinforcement with a diameter from 400 to 2,000 millimeters, metal panel fencing made of wire up to 2.5 meters wide and plastic, plastic fittings, plastic injection products, water and gas valves, and plastic circular valves.

The plant has a number of certificates obtained for high-quality products in accordance with national and international standards such as API, ISO 9001, OHSA 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 29001, GOST, and AZS.
