One of the largest enterprises in Azerbaijan engaged in manufacturing metal structures, Mingachevir Machine-Building Plant, plans to increase the production volume by nearly 15 percent by the end of 2020, a source in the company told Trend.
According to the source, by the end of the year, it is also planned to increase the monthly production volumes to 200-210 tons of metal structures at the plant.
“It was initially planned to boost this indicator to 250 tons and more, but in the current conditions when the enterprise is functioning in limited working regime, it’s clear that the initial production targets were slightly overestimated,” the source said. “It’s expected that next year, the plant will catch up with the initial targets and thus, increase its export potential.”
The annual production capacity of the plant is 7,200 tons.
The company is engaged in the production of metal structures for cement plants.
Mingachevir machine-building plant also produces concrete barriers and templates for pipes, supports for transporting goods of various sizes, cranes, conveyors, pipes, columns and more.
The plant has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1957.
Five main and five auxiliary workshops are located on the seven-hectare plant area.
