А charter cargo flight (second this week) of Uzbekistan Airways delivered a shipment of wild cherries (50 tons), from Fergana to Incheon (South Korea), on June 4, 2020, Trend reports with reference to Dunyo News Agency.
”Wild cherries grown in the Fergana region are supplied to the Korean Sunfinite Company by Uz-Segang JV. It will be distributed in South Korea through wholesale and retail chains,” the message said.
Uzbekistan delivered first batch of wild cherries weighing 50 tons, from Fergana to Incheon (South Korea), on June 1.
Another shipment of wild cherries of 17.8 tons was delivered to Incheon by charter cargo flight of Uzbekistan on May 23, 2020.
Earlier, the Korea Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency issued a permit in 2020 for six Uzbek companies to supply fresh cherries to the market of South Korea - Gold Dried Fruits Export (Tashkent city), JV Uz-Segang (Fergana region), Brand Investment Group Agro LLC (Andijan region), Pure Fruit Trade LLC (Namangan region), Namangan Agro Logistics LLC (Namangan region) and Samarkand Garden Plast LLC (Samarkand region).
