Kazakhstan and China will implement seven joint investment projects worth $576 million, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The topic was discussed during the 18th meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Commission on Cooperation in Industrialization and Investment, co-chaired by Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Almas Aidarov and China’s Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission Ning Jizhe.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on support activities needed for the projects’ successful implementation and resolution of emerging issues.

Certain measures were agreed on to quickly address issues related to the transportation of goods and border crossings, as well as the timely delivery of equipment necessary to complete projects.

The parties noted that implementation of the projects will allow creating 647 new jobs.

The meeting participants also expressed their mutual gratitude for the provision of humanitarian assistance in the COVID-19 battle. The cooperation effectiveness, which allowed to reduce the incidence rate in both countries, was noted.
