Russia and Turkmenistan have discussed the issues of increasing investment and export opportunities, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
This issue was discussed during an online meeting with representatives of the Russian chamber of Commerce and industry on June 30, 2020.
From the Turkmen side, the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Construction, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as other relevant organizations attended the meeting.
The sides noted the high level of trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia, and discussed current and future projects with the participation of both sides, the report says.
Therefore, the participants considered the development of cooperation in such areas as industry, transport and energy.
During the meeting of the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Russia and Turkmenistan, held on May 19, 2020, the parties considered the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of trade and exchange activities. The sides exchanged views on the organization of deliveries of textile goods, yarn and cotton products of Turkmen production to Russia.
