Kazakhstan’s pasta producing company eyes expanding product line

Kazakhstan’s Mareven Food Tian-Shan company, which produces pasta, sauces and other food products, has increased output by 85 percent in 1H2020 compared to 1Q2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s KAZAKH INVEST National Company JSC.

The Mareven Food Tien-Shan plant operating in Kazakhstan’s Almaty region, was set up with the support of KAZAKH INVEST. It continues to increase production volumes as demand for the company's products grows both in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries.

Currently, the company produces instant pasta, traditional pasta, broths, mashed potatoes, sauces, and carbonated beverages. The company’s salesincreased by over 30 percent in 1H2020, whereas production increased by 85 percent.

In the future, Mareven Food Tien-Shan plans to expand its product line under the Rollton, Big Bon and Actibo brands, expand its brand portfolio, which in the long term means support to local farmers as the company uses Kazakh wheat and salt in large volumes for the production.

Mareven Food Tien-Shan is a trade and production company in Kazakhstan which specializes in the development, production and promotion of a wide range of food products.

It is a subsidiary of the international investment holding Mareven Food Holdings Ltd., which also owns production assets in Russia and Ukraine.
