Atena LLC, Azerbaijan’s dairy company located in Agjabadi district, has been increasing production volumes of milk and dairy products, and has also launched development of a new production line of dairy products, a source in the company told Trend.
The source pointed out that a new production line of ayran (refreshing drink made from milk) will be launched, as this drink is in the greatest demand in summer.
“Currently, the company produces two types of these products, with a different percentage of fat content. All products of the plant are sold only in the domestic market in a supermarkets of Baku and other cities of the country,” the source said.
“Since the beginning of 2020, the plant has developed two new types of sour cream – with fat content of 20 and 30 percent, as well as two varieties of creamy yogurt. By the end of the year, the company also plans to increase milk production. At present, the company manufactures 500-520 tons of dairy products per month and plans to increase it to 600 tons,” the source added.
The production facilities of Atena LLC, working in full capacity, are located in Agjabadi city.
The company has its own farm and land.
