Iran's Esfahan Steel Company manufactured more than 561,000 tons of products during the first three months of current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to the report, the company produced 176,600 tons of steel girders within 3 months. The volume of steel girders production was 57,800 tons in the 1st month (March 20-April 20), 63,700 tons in the 2nd month (April 21-May 20), 55,000 tons in the 3rd month (May 21-June 20).
“The company produced 131,000 tons of fittings in three months. The volume of production was 32,100 tons in the first month, 51,300 tons in the second month and 47,300 tons in the third month,” the report said.
“The volume of steel ingots produced by the company exceeded 237,000 tons during three months. About 81,700 tons of steel ingots were produced in the first month, 83,700 tons in the second month and 72,100 tons in the third month,” the report added.
According to the report, 12,700 tons of steel rails were produced in three months. The production volume was 1,200 tons in the first month, 5,800 tons in the second month and 5,700 tons in the third month.
The production volume of other products amounted to 12,700 tons within three months. More than 6,150 tons of products were produced in the first month, 1,700 tons in the second month, 4,800 tons in the third month.
Iran's Esfahan Steel Company is located in Isfahan Province. The company's products are exported to more than 23 countries. The company produces more than 3.6 million tons of steel and steel products a year.
