It is planned to export $315 million worth of products from Iran's Zanjan Province in the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020), Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Zanjan Province Nasser Faghfouri, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
The chairman noted that the products worth $30 million were exported from Zanjan Province within 3 months (March 20-June 20, 2020).
He added that considering that many land, sea and air routes in Iran have been closed due to coronavirus at certain times over the past three months, 40 percent of the plan has been implemented.
“The province's exports are projected to be worth $500 million with the increase of exports and the solution of the problems of production enterprises in the coming months,” he said.
Faghfouri emphasized that it was planned to export $600 million worth of products from Iran's Zanjan Province in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).
“Last year, $340 million worth of products were exported from Zanjan Province, and thus, 60 percent of the plan was fulfilled,” he said.
