Uzbekistan plans to hold presentations and showrooms of cables and household appliances in 3D format for potential buyers in Egypt and Sudan, Trend reports with reference to Dunyo information agency.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Cairo organized a video conference meeting with the participation of the Uzeltehsanoat management and its member companies - ProCab and Texnoservice - in order to promote the products manufactured by the Uzeltehsanoat Association companies to the African market and to organize joint production of electrical equipment.
During the meeting, it was noted that the goods of Uzeltekhsanoat companies are in great demand in the CIS countries due to their high quality and affordable prices. Marketing research shows the possibility of selling them in the markets of Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Sudan. To this end, at the initial stage, it is planned to hold presentations and showrooms of cables and household appliances in 3D format for potential buyers in Egypt and Sudan.
In connection with the expansion of the construction of public and private facilities in Uzbekistan, there is an increased demand for the installation of modern dry-type transformers, which are mainly imported from abroad. Taking into account the rich experience of Egyptian companies in the production of these types of transformers, it is planned to implement joint projects in this direction.
An agreement was reached on organizing a visit to Egypt of a delegation of representatives of the Uzeltehsanoat Association and its member companies in November this year to hold negotiations with Egyptian business circles on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
