Data on cotton yarn sales at Turkmen State Commodity Exchange for Sept. 2020

Cotton yarn was intensively being sold on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in September, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.

During the first week of trading on the Turkmenistan’s exchange, cotton yarn was purchased in foreign currency by entrepreneurs from Russia, the UAE, Afghanistan and Azerbaijan. Also, cotton yarn was sold to entrepreneurs from the UAE, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan for Turkmen manat.

In the second week of September, businessmen from Azerbaijan, Russia, the US, the UAE, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan bought cotton yarn in foreign currency, and entrepreneurs from the UAE, Kazakhstan and Pakistan purchased the same product for manat.

In the third week of September, cotton yarn was also actively sold on the country's exchange in both foreign currency and national currency.

In particular, entrepreneurs from Russia, the US, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries purchased it in foreign currency, while businessmen from the UAE, Pakistan, Switzerland, and Turkey purchased it for manat.

No transactions on cotton yarn were made on the exchange in the fourth week of September.

As for the period from 28 September through October 2, the cotton yarn was sold to businessmen from Russia, the USA, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in foreign currency, and national entrepreneurs from the UK, Switzerland, UAE, Turkey, Singapore, Afghanistan.
