Georgia exported 237,788 tons of copper to China worth $350.09 million from January through October 2020, Trend reports referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
In the reporting period, Georgia exported 2,824 tons of wine of fresh grapes worth $10.8 million to China.
Meanwhile, 25 tons of medical equipment and appliances worth $7.3 million were exported from Georgia to China.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported 2,459 tons of aluminum in the amount of $3.45 million to China.
Georgia also exported 12,066 tons of precious metals and concentrates worth $33.7 million to China.
From January through October 2020, the foreign trade turnover between Georgia and China amounted to more than $991.7 million, which makes up 10.8 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported products worth $418.8 million to the Chinese market, which is 15.4 percent of total exports from Georgia.
Meanwhile, China's exports to Georgia amounted to $572.9 million, which comprises 8.9 percent of total imports to Georgia.
