Reforms aimed at labor market transparency are based on long-term goals, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, wrote on Twitter account, Trend reports.
According to Jabbarov, from January through February 2021, revenues from payments of compulsory state social insurance increased by 8.8 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
The minister noted that receipts in excess of the forecast amounted to 65.4 million manat ($38.4 million).
Earlier, Mikayil Jabbarov said that by the end of 2020, tax revenues from the non-oil sector amounted to 5.6 billion manat ($3.29 billion), which was the highest figure.
