Some 42,100 tons of polyethylene were produced in Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2021, which is growth of 0.2 percent year on year, Trend reports on Apr.20 referring to the State Statistical Committee’s report.
According to the committee, 32,700 tons of propylene were produced in the reporting period, down by 6 percent compared to 1Q2020.
Besides, the country produced 42,300 tons of ethylene, which is also 0.2 percent decrease in annual terms.
