Cost of chargeable services rendered to Baku's population in 1Q2021 dips

The cost of chargeable services provided to the population in Baku decreased by 10 percent from January through March 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.

As reported, the volume of chargeable services amounted to 1.13 billion manat ($664.7 million).

“Legal entities provided services worth 840.7 million manat ($494.5 million) to the population, which made up 62.2 percent of the total cost of provided services.

In 2020, the average monthly nominal salary of workers in Baku increased by 6.9 percent compared to 2019 and amounted to 927.2 manat ($545.4).

According to the committee, last year, the cost of chargeable services provided to the population in Baku amounted to 4.31 billion manat ($2.53 billion), which is 29.6 percent less compared to 2019.
