The coal production of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) increased by 12 percent in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the IMIDRO’s website.
According to the report, two subsidiaries of IMIDRO –Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company and Central Alborz Coal Company produced a total of 52,900 tons of coal over the first month. While in the same month last Iranian year, these companies had produced about 47,100 tons of coal in total.
In addition, the two companies extracted about 124,000 tons of coal-related minerals within the first month. This is an increase of 20 percent, compared to the same month of the last Iranian year.
So, 103,000 tons of minerals had been extracted in the same month last Iranian year, the report said.
“The Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company and Central Alborz Coal Company sent a total of 72,300 tons of coal concentrate to local Iranian companies during the 1st month of the current Iranian year. This is an increase of 43 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year. So, 50,500 tons of coal concentrate had been sent to local Iranian companies in the same month last Iranian year,” the report said.
