The head of Iran's presidential office said the government will import 30 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine by mid-September.
The next 30 million doses will be imported following the order of the president, in addition, to increase the production of vaccines in the country, Gholamhossein Esmaili said Trend reports citing ISNA.
"According to the report of the Ministry of Health, we do not have any obstacle with the supply of drugs to Covid-19 patients. Most of the Covid related drugs are produced domestically," Esmaili indicated
Referring to the serum supply, he noted that the serum shortage has been resolved.
“The problem of domestic production of serum is also solved,” he said. "The government took the necessary measures to produce and import of serum, immediately."
