According to Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee, as of August 1, 2021, the number of enterprises with foreign capital in the republic increased by 15.8 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020, Trend reports citing the Committee.
The number of operating enterprises with foreign capital in 2021 amounted to 12,944 and to 11,172 in 2020.
Moreover, according to the Committee, as of August 1, 2021, the number of small businesses operating with the participation of foreign capital in the country increased by 16.2 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
There are 12,481 small businesses with foreign capital in Uzbekistan opposing 10,740 small businesses in 2020.
