According to Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee, from January through July 2021, Uzbekistan exported 35,000 tons of grapes worth $33.7 million to 40 foreign countries, Trend reports citing the Committer.
This figure decreased by 7,400 tons compared to the same period last year.
Uzbekistan is the largest exporter of grapes in the last 7 months to Russia – 8,600 tons, Kazakhstan – 7,700 tons China – 4,900 tons Kyrgyzstan – 3,000 tons Turkey – 2,100 tons
Moreover, Uzbekistan regions which exported the most amount of grapes in 7 months of 2021: Samarkand region – 12,100 tons Fergana region – 7,700 tons Tashkent region – 3,600 tons Namangan region – 2,100 tons.
