The member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) exported 358,010 tons of wheat worth $85.3 million to Azerbaijan from January through July 2021, Trend reports via the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Wheat exports in quantitative terms decreased by 0.4 percent, and increased in value terms by 16.8 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
According to the commission, 95.4 percent of the volume of exported wheat fell on Russia – 314,500 tons. The remaining volume was exported by Kazakhstan – 16,400 tons.
During the reporting period, exports from the EAEU countries amounted to $275.5 billion, which is 34.4 percent more than from January through July 2020.
