Exports from Iran's Mazandaran Province increase

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 14

The exports from the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) increased by 43 percent in terms of value and 22 percent in terms of volume, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Chairman for the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Mazandaran Province Hossseinghouli Qovanlu said, Trend reports citing the organization.

According to Qovanlu, 514,000 tons of goods worth $157 million were exported from the province in 7 months.

The chairman added that the main goods exported were dairy products, cement, rubber products, meat products, fruit juices, flowers and plants.

"These goods were mainly exported to Iraq, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE, Turkey and Qatar," he said.
