Kazakhstan's monthly food price indicators rising

The prices of food products in Kazakhstan have increased by 0.9 percent in November compared to October 2021 and by 10.9 percent compared to November 2020, Trend reports citing the Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Furthermore, the prices on non-food items went up by 1 percent compared to October 2021 and by 8.3 percent compared to November 2020, whereas prices of paid services increased by 0.3 percent and 6.4 percent respectively.

The prices increased for fresh vegetables by 8.3 percent, eggs by 2.1 percent, flour by 1.5 percent, pork by 1.1 percent, pasteurized milk, cereals, pasta by 1 percent, bakery and flour products by 0.9 percent, bread, granulated sugar, sausages, horse meat by 0.8 percent each, poultry meat by 0.7 percent.

Tobacco products went up in price by 1 percent, alcoholic beverages by 0.5 percent. A decrease in prices was recorded for potatoes by 1.4 percent, fresh fruits by 0.6 percent.

Prices for diesel fuel increased by 14.6 percent, liquefied gas in cylinders by 13.6 percent, coal by 3.7 percent, gasoline by 2.4 percent.

The increase in prices for textiles amounted to 0.9 percent, pharmaceutical products to 0.7 percent.
