BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 260,217 kg over the period from January through March 2022, which is 1.5 percent less than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 93,957 kg in March 2022, which is 4.1 percent more than in March 2021.

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 16.7 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 28,733 kg (9,801 kg in March 2022, an increase of 25.6 percent compared to March 2021).

Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 405,488 tons during the reporting period, which indicates an increase of 7.3 percent compared to the same period of last year.

The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 145,987 tons in March 2022, which is 19.5 percent more than in March 2021.

Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 28,104 tons over the reporting period, which is 0.8 percent less than during the same period of 2021. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in March 2022 was 9,596 tons, which is 10.9 percent less than in March 2021.

Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 74,117 tons, which is 5.6 percent less than during the same period of 2021 (24,611 tons in March 2022, down by 10 percent compared to March 2021).

As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 122,542 tons, which is 0.4 percent less than during the same period of 2021 (43,238 tons in March 2022, which is 5 percent more than in March 2021).

Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 10,907 tons, which is 54.7 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (3,557 tons in March 2022, up by 14.4 percent compared to March 2021).
