TEHRAN, Iran, May 9. Iran is imposing a temporary tax on the export of mineral material to stabilize the market, said the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Sadegh Mofateh, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The tax on export of basic materials will increase the supply to the domestic market. Export duties will increase or decrease depending on the global price," he said.
He pointed out that a chart has been created to set the export tax rate on basic materials that will be imposed if the price difference between global prices and the domestic market increase.
According to the official, export duties did not have a negative effect on stock exchange companies and capital market trading.
