BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Car manufacturing of the Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) increased by 65 percent, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, deputy director of the IKCO, Kiyanush Pourmojib said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to Pourmojib, the company manufactured a total of 84,385 cars within the mentioned period.
“On May 21, 2022, the IKCO manufactured 2,751 new passenger cars and 41 trucks,” he added.
The deputy director emphasized that the company plans to manufacture 72,000 passenger cars for the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023).
