BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. Iran’s coal was exported to 38 countries, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2022), Trend reports referring to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to the report, Iran's coal was mainly exported to UAE, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and China.
Within 7 months, Iran exported an average of 113,000 tons of coal worth $23 million per month.
Iran's coal export is expected to increase in the coming months.
On average, 1.5 million tons of coal are produced in Iran per year.
